As far as I’m concerned, it’s always a good time for Champagne. It’s one of the few alcoholic beverages that goes with any meal – breakast, lunch, dinner, cocktail time – and you just can’t argue with a beverage that tickles your nose and gives you the giggles. These artisinal champagnes are made by small farmers, some of whom bottle themselves, and were profiled in Forbes magazine by Richard Nalley. Ah, brings back memories of my trip to Sonoma. Note to self: need to plan a spa/wine trip for the girls.
